Sari

ABSTRACT
Field Learning Practice (PBL) is one of the learning methods that aims to improve students' understanding in identifying and overcoming health problems in the community. This PBL activity was carried out in Dusun II, Lempasing Village, Teluk Pandan District, Pesawaran Regency, with the main focus on community-based health interventions through the formation of a Smoke-Free Task Force. This initiative is based on the high number of smokers in the household environment and the lack of awareness of the dangers of cigarette smoke to public health, especially for children and the elderly. The methods used in this activity include field observation, interviews with the community, socialization regarding the impact of cigarettes on health, and training for Task Force cadres. The Smoke-Free Task Force that was formed consists of representatives of the local community, religious leaders, and health workers who are tasked with educating and supervising the implementation of Smoke-Free Areas (KTR) in the household environment, places of worship, and other public facilities.
