Pemberdayaan Kemaja Melalui Program “Healthy Youth Corner”

Remaja akan menghadapi berbagai masalah yang kompleks terkait dengan perubahan fisik, kecukupan gizi, perkembangan psikososial, emosi dan kecerdasan yang akhirnya menimbulkan konflik dalam dirinya dan akan mempengaruhi kesehatannya. Kegiatan pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini berupa program “Healthy Youth Corner” yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada remaja, orang tua, serta kader terhadap kesehatan diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan, penyuluhan, dan sosialisasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dan diikuti oleh 42 remaja, orang tua, dan kader. Sebelum dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian, Sebagian besar (64%) responden memiliki pengetahuan danketerampilan kurang dan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini sebagian besar (69%) memiliki pengetahuan danketerampilan baik. Program Healthy Youth Corner dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja terhadap diri. Rencana tindak lanjut yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan pendampingan serta peningkatan keterampilan berkelanjutan bagi kesehatan remaja.

ABSTRACT
Adolescents will face various complex problems related to physical changes, nutritional adequacy, psychosocial development, emotions, and intelligence which ultimately give rise to conflicts within themselves and will affect their health. This community service activity is the "Healthy Youth Corner" program which aims to increase the knowledge and skills of teenagers, parents, and cadres regarding personal health. The method used in this community service activity is to provide training, counseling, and outreach. This activity was carried out for one month and was attended by 42 teenagers, parents, and cadres. Before carrying out service activities, the majority (64%) of respondents had poor knowledge and skills and after participating in this service activity the majority (69%)had good knowledge and skills. The Healthy Youth Corner program can increase teenagers' knowledge and skills regarding themselves. The follow-up plan that can be carried out is with assistance and continuous improvement ofskills for adolescent health.
