Hubungan Insomnia Dengan Fungsi Kognitif Pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Di Kota Tangerang

Remaja memerlukan 8 hingga 10 jam tidur setiap hari untuk menjaga fungsi fisik dan kognitif yang optimal. Namun, sebagian besar remaja tidak memenuhi kebutuhan tidur ini, yang dapat menyebabkan berbagai gangguan tidur, salah satunya adalah insomnia. Insomnia dapat memiliki dampak serius, termasuk gangguan dalam aktivitas sehari-hari, penurunan produktivitas, dan dampak negatif pada kualitas hidup serta fungsi kognitif. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara insomnia dan fungsi kognitif di kalangan siswa SMA di Tangerang. Studi ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitis dengan desain cross-sectional, menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari kuesioner Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) dan tes Digit Symbol Substitution Test (DSST). Penelitian ini melibatkan 283 responden, dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa tidak mengalami insomnia (59,7%). Skor fungsi kognitif yang paling sering adalah 50 (7,4%). Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi peringkat Spearman menghasilkan nilai Sig. (dua ekor) sebesar 0,563, yang lebih besar dari 0,05, menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara insomnia dan fungsi kognitif di kalangan remaja dalam studi ini. Hal ini menyarankan bahwa, dalam lingkup penelitian ini, insomnia tidak secara signifikan mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif di kalangan siswa SMA di Tangerang.
